This research paper presents a comparative
analysis of two popular data mining algorithms, Apriori and
FP Growth, using the WEKA tool. The study aims to
determine which algorithm is more efficient in terms of
execution time and database scan parameters. The results
indicate that FP Growth outperforms Apriori in terms of
execution time and number of database scans required to
generate frequent item sets. The study also examines the
impact of various parameters on the performance of both
algorithms, such as support threshold and database size. The
findings of this study suggest that FP Growth is a more
an effective algorithm for frequent itemset mining, especially for
larger databases, and can be a useful tool for data analysts
and researchers working in this field.
In this paper, a rigorous and overall analysis is done based on a systematic change in the inventory model of deteriorating items. The process of production always targets to be better quality with the advent of new and latest techniques to stand up in this competitive era. For a few decades, researchers are developing the EOQ (economic order quantity) model through various functions. But still, due to the various risk factors, most of the manufacturing processes ends with some imperfection. So, the produced items are not always perfect. The situation seems to be more receptive while dealing with items of deteriorating quality. Thus, a process of inspection is needed for screening good quality items. So, the objective of investigation in this paper is focused on demand function, inventory model, deterioration rate, EOQ, supply chain, inflation. Some of the further possible scopes of this research are also mentioned at the end of the paper.
